LEGO, the world most famous plastic bricks, has a new product line. It consists on a replica of icons in today´s cities. They have divided their 'architecture' line in 3 subsectors: landmarks, architects series, and discovery. Landmarks include constructions like the John Hancock Tower in Chicago by SOM,or the Seattle Space Needle
by John Graham. In the architect´s series, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation made a collaboration with Lego to release a collection of lego sets about buildings from the visionary architect, consisting on a series of 6 buildings, including the 'NYC Guggenheim Museum' and 'The Falling Water House'. It coincided last year with the exhibition 'From Within Outward' about Wright and the 50 anniversary of the building, in the Guggenheim Museum of New York.
